"f**k this and f**k you." My anger was boiling, seeping out of every pore. How f*****g dare he put our pups in harms way? I could give two shits about myself at this point, I was unworthy, a disappointment. However these pups were innocent, they were worthy of life and of love. I wouldn't let harm come to them because my mate and his dickhead wolf decided I didn't deserve to have my wolf and my gifts.
The light flowed through my body uncontrollably. I stumbled before a wave of calm washed over me. A soft voice fluttered through my mind, "Let go my child. Embrace the Goddess within you." I knew that voice, I knew her guidance. Selene was with me, and that gave me all the confidence I needed to let go. The blue light died down as I felt a presence stir inside me.
