Chapter 7

" Good morning Eva "

Clara greeted her cheerfully. Eva ignored her and continued to walk to the kitchen with an absent mind. Clara looked at Eva with confusion and worry.

'What the hell happened to her? ' Clara looked at her pale-looking friend.

" Eva?"

" Eva!"

Finally, Eva stopped walking and looked at Clara with empty eyes. Clara gasped at the sight of her friend. Eva looked tired and sleep deprived. Her eyes looked red and puffy, like she had been crying for the whole night.

" Are you alright, Eva?"

Clara could not help but ask her worriedly. Eva nodded her head mutely. Clara watched as Eva continued to walk. Clara's eyes stared at her back with cautious eyes.

" Something is definitely wrong with her. "

AT KITCHEN

" Ms Park, you are late. "

Eva didn't raise her head and continued to look at the floor. She was aware that Martha was now glaring at her and she didn't even care.

" Our master hates slackers. Since you are new here, I will let it go. Don't let it happen again. " Martha sternly warned her.

" I am sorry Madam. "

Martha looked at the girl with displeased eyes. For some reason, she started to hate this girl. At first she looked like an ordinary scared girl, like any other girl that came to work here. But after her arrival, Aiden was behaving strangely. Aiden, who hates anyone entering his room, now asks Eva to serve him in his room. This girl is ruining her plans. And Martha wouldn't let anyone fail her plans. The plans she cautiously brewed for many years.

" Go! Bring this breakfast to the master's room. "

Eva looked at the plate and started to fidget in her place. She didn't want to go into that room ever again. Can't others deliver these to his room? Why must it be her?

Martha frowned at the hesitating girl.

" Master is waiting for his breakfast. Bring it to his room as soon as possible."

Eva knew she didn't have any option but to take this to his room. She doesn't want to face him after last night. All she wanted was to leave this house.

If she stayed in this house, she would have to obey his rules. That meant he would have complete control over her, which she hates it to the core.

Before she could leave the kitchen, Martha's voice warned her with a threatening tone.

" Know your place and don't think high of yourself "

Eva stood there while gripping the plate tightly. She didn't turn around to look at the head maid, Eva knew she didn't have to either, as Martha left the place. But the words spewed from Martha's mouth were intended for her to hear.

' Does she have some grudge against me?'

To her knowledge, she didn't do anything to trigger her anger. Was it because of their master?

' Everyone here hates me because they think I was adored by our master '

Eva sighed tiredly. She should leave this place soon or she will fall prey to that lusting monster that is after her body.

AIDEN'S ROOM

" May I come in, Master? "

Aiden smirked as the words of his maid sounded through his door. From the morning, he had been waiting for her arrival. She was late but he didn't want anyone other than her to serve him. So he decided to wait for his little sparrow patiently.

Aiden wanted to laugh at his situation. He made many millionaires and even political leaders wait for his arrival, but now, he is waiting for a mere maid. Moreover, she was sent here by his brother for god knows what reason.

Aiden's eyes roamed around her face as soon as she entered. His eyes rolled over her body before stopping at her pink lips and her eyes. He frowned at the displeasing sight of her green eyes. Her eyes looked red and those dark circles were more prominent. Her swollen eyes told him the story of how she spent the night after leaving his room.

' Did she cry for the whole night? '

' why she is making it a big issue '

He was not able to understand her thoughts. If it was any other woman, they would have been delighted to be in her place. Does she know what he is offering her?

All she has to do is obey him, then she will receive all the riches of this world. And don't forget the pleasure he will bring to her, which she will never taste in her life. She is confusing but intriguing.

'All women wanted to be in my embrace. Everyone craves my attention, but why not she?'

' was it because of his brother? Does she have undestructable loyalty to him? Is he that great in her eyes?'

' And today she will know how I am way greater than my pathetic brother.'

Aiden clenched his fist with anger at the thought of his little sparrow being acquainted with Alexander. The thought of being them lovers burned his heart with anger and blood lust.

And tonight he will have her spill all the truths she is hiding. He wanted to know everything. Every single detail about her life.

'First I would punish her for being with Alexander and I would take everything her body had to offer. I will claim her again and again until she forgets any name other than mine.' Aiden mused to himself.

Aiden watched silently as his maid started to serve him breakfast. He ate his breakfast as his eyes stared at her form.

He noticed from the moment she entered, she didn't even look at him.

' Am I unworthy in her eyes? '

The thought alone burnt his mind. He wanted her attention on him. For every day and every night, she had to focus on him, only him.

" Come to my room by midnight. "

He will devour this pretty maid until she becomes a mess. She will succumb to the pleasure that he will bring tonight. He would make her beg for more. Aiden smirked like a devil at the thought of claiming her.

He looked at the shivering woman with dark eyes. His little fox had to obey him. He is her master. Her one and only master.

He commended his authority.

" Don't be late, my little sparrow. Now leave "

Eva nodded her head and scurried away from the room immediately.
