Chapter 3

" Who is gay ?"

Both Clara and Eva stiffened their backs. Well, they didn't expect someone to really listen to their conversation about their Master's s****l orientation.

They turned around to meet the stern eyes of the head maid Martha.

' Thank God it's not our Master '

" W..well I am sorry.. about Mas... "

Before Eva could talk, Clara interrupted.

" We are talking about my brother who turned gay recently. "

Clara laughed awkwardly, cutting off Eva, who was going to blabber the truth.

Martha didn't say anything, she only stared at them with a doubtful look, making them nervous.

" I told you to teach her the rules of the house, not to gossip behind my back. "

They both bowed their heads, intending to apologise.

" We are sorry Madam. "

Martha's strict eyes fell on Eva.

" Miss Eva, your uniform is ready. Go get ready and meet me in the kitchen. I will tell you what you have to do today. You are both dismissed "

They both released a sigh of relief and smiled at each other.

" Seriously, our master and Martha have some problems with their socialising skills. "

" Shh you i***t. Come, I will show you your room. "

Eva took a double take when Clara showed her the room she was going to stay in. The room is too big for a single person. Eva had never stayed in such a room before. How rich is their master to give maids these kinds of luxurious rooms, Eva wondered.

" Wow"

"I know. Here, change into your uniform and come before Martha blows our head "

Eva looked at the uniform in her hand. It's a typical maid dress with frills and a head band. The quality of the cloth is quite good and soft to touch. She quickly changed into her uniform and rushed to the kitchen.

When she reached the kitchen, Martha was giving instructions to every maid in the house. As she noticed Eva, she motioned her to come inside.

" From today onwards you are appointed to clean Master's room. Make sure everything is clean and tidy. Master is a perfectionist. Don't ever misplace anything there"

" Yes Madam "

Eva's stomach twisted at the thought of entering into Aiden's room. It's like entering into a lion's den. Eva swallowed heavily.

" Only enter into the room after master's leave. He hates maids going into his room while he is there."

" Alright madam "

Eva breathed a sigh of relief. The thought of being in the same room with Master gave her shivers. That brooding man would scare her with his single glance.

"Always knock on the door before entering. If he doesn't respond to your calls, you can enter. "

" I understand Madam "

Before Eva could leave, Martha warned her with concerned eyes.

" Don't anger him, be careful around him "

Eva didn't say anything. Martha's words troubled her mind but she didn't give much thought to it. For Eva, Aiden White is an emotionless iceberg.

She arrived at her master's bedroom. She looked around the hallway. No one is around, not even a single soul. The whole floor is only for him. Remaining rooms on the floor were closed and not in use.

" Is he hiding some sort of top secret? Or maybe he is planning for world domination ?"

Eva shook her head to get rid of those abstract thoughts. She should stop reading so many novels.

" Master, are you there ?"

She knocked twice but no sound came out of there. Eva didn't want to face her cold-blooded master, so she tried again. Still no sound came. She placed her ears on the door, keenly listening for any sound that would indicate her master's presence.

Since no sound came, she daringly opened the door only to gap at the sight before her. This was the most beautiful room she had ever seen. The whole room was painted black and gold. And it fit her master very well.

" Is he a king or something? How rich is he ?"

The room is littered with so many expensive things except an old chair. A hand woven scarf was placed on the top of the old chair. The chair and scarf didn't go well with the room, then why would her master place them in the centre of the room like a precious thing?

"Maybe he has an emotional attachment to this chair?"

Busy with those thoughts, she didn't notice the rag under her feet.

"THUD!"

She fell pitifully scrapping her knees. She tried to stand up only to fall again.

" Ugh so much for first day of work "

Eva was busy groaning at the pain, she didn't notice that her skirt had risen up, showing her pink panties to the world.

Not to the world, but to a person who got out of the bathroom with a single towel hanging around his waist.

" Thank god Master is not here. "

The said person was staring at her pink clothe with unexplainable eyes. His hands were twitching.

Finally, Eva got up and dusted herself. She turned around, only to get the shock of her life. Her mouth gaped open but no words came out. Too shocked to move, she stood there like an ice statue.

' God I want to die '

Her eyes moved to her master's perfect body, which was displayed perfectly before her eyes. She forced her eyeballs to move away from the hottest male abs. Unconsciously, her eyes moved to his eyes which were openly glaring at her.

" M..master t..that..."

Aiden raised his eyebrows, waiting for her explanation.

Eva's mind became a mess with embarrassment and fear. She have to get out of here immediately. Not knowing what to say to escape, she blabbered out,

" I.. I need to pee very urgently, sorry Master! "
