RESIGNING?

SONU

I am waiting outside the cafe and waiting for Tanu, I don't know what she told on call yesterday because after Rohan listened to what she told, he went in his room and locked him self.

I just hope that nothing serious has happened, as I was standing I saw Tanu coming towards me,she came and just hugged me tight. After sometime she broke the hug and I saw her eyes were red and puffy,I guess she has cried a lot.

"Tanu what happen why are you crying,just say,you know na you can share anything with me,"I told her.

She nodded her head and we went inside the cafe and sat on our usual spot near the window.

"What happened,will you tell me?"I asked.

"My mother and aunt has decided to get me married!"she said.

"Whaat!"I gasped.

"How? Why?"I asked.

"Hmmm...that...my aunt says that in my family its a tradition that girls should marry before the age of 22", she said.

"What? And you said yes for the marriage? Why? Are you prepared for the marriage?" I asked.

She shook his head,indicating 'NO'.

"Than why you said yes"! I shouted.

"Be...cause... My mothers health is not good and she said her last wish is to she me getting married and settling down ",she told me.

We both were quite for sometime and than I asked "Who is that guy?"

"Hm...I don't know",she said.

"What? You are crazy,you are getting married and you don't know who is that guy?"I shouted.

This girl is seriously crazy, I am feeling like I should hit her hard and knock some sense in her. She is getting married and she don't know who is the guy! Like seriously.

"My aunt says,that in the house is a tradition that,the girl should not see her husband before marriage, and the boys family don't want engagement also,"she said.

"Means you are not getting engaged?" I asked.

"No"she replied shortly.

"When is your wedding?"I asked.

"Next week",she answered.

"Tanu seriously,you are getting married next week,you are not ready for the marriage thing,you don't know who is the groom,and importantly you don't want to get married,than why?"I said slowly.

I know what Tanu is going through right now. I don't want to shout at her I have to understand her and than help her out from this situation.

"What are you going to do now?"I asked.

"First I am going to office...."She was saying something and I stopped her.

"That's cool you are not leaving the job",I said

"No-no,I am going to office to say ' SORRY' to Rohan and I am gonna resign the job.

" What,Why?"I shouted

"Because my Mom said that after a week I am getting married and I have to learn household chores",she said.

"Your inlaws have also not allowed you to work?"I asked.

"They allowed but my aunt refused",she said.

I swear her aunt.....I want to kill her.

"Come on lets leave",Tanu said.

Wait,first tell me ,"do you have feelings for Rohan,and dare you tell me a lie because I know the answer and also know everything about you and Rohan", I said.

I have to know first about her feelings.

She was quite for few minutes,and than she said "Its ok, now what I will do I am getting married now, I can't help it".

This means she likes Rohan. I guess I have to plan something with Rahul to make Tanu and Rohan close in the week time,I thought.

"Now lets go,I am getting late,"she said and we left.

We got down from the cab and we went inside the office and I saw Rahul was also there,I guess he was waiting for us, do he know about the situation going on in Tanu's life? I thought.

TANYA

I don't know what's going to happen now, I told Sonu everything and I know she is not happy,but I can't help it.

As we entered the office building Rahul was waiting for us ,I told Sonu to tell him everything that happened,and I went to washroom to wash my face,because if Rohan will see my face he will get more tensed.

I just hope Rohan listens to me...

I went towards the lobby were Rahul and Sonu were waiting for me,as I went near then Rahul hugged me and said "EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!"

I just nodded.

I just hope that everything will be ok!,after talking for few minutes and calming my self down I went towards Rohan's cabin. As I knocked the door I heard a faint voice' Come in'.

ROHAN

I was sitting in my cabin and was waiting for Tanu to come. I want to ask many questions to her.

Yesterday as she said in the call 'THAT SHE IS GETTING MARRIED ,ITS WAS LIKE MY WORLD HAS COLLAPSED'.

I didn't answer anyone and just went to my room and locked my self and cried my heart out.

As I was thinking there was a knock on the door and I knew who is there,I said 'come in'. The door opened and there come MY GIRL.

I quickly went and hugged her, as I was just going to ask her she gave me a letter, as I opened the letter I was shocked it was a " RESIGNING LETTER".
