Chapter 4: Murder Weds Murder POV Ivory Costello May god forgive me from the deadly crime I have caused, the pain I had given to people yet I could not stop but think about what I see...Jace! I may sound crazy but the way he blamed me throwing his comments he was the ghost out for revenge and I was his target the murder of Jace Marlo. Why couldn't I have denied his deal? My selfishness had taken a death of two lovers, separated them from being one, I could have survived from him, but why did I not stop myself before it was too late. The full blow of wind attacked my face snapping me out of my horrible nightmare as I shook in fright trying to focus my gaze on the front towards my sister and her to be husband the same man who is to be my husband tomorrow, but as always, I was the illegitimate daughter and wife. But the burnt cherry on top was the worst as I had to give him myself fully, I really had not thought this through fully. "Here. Take a fruit punch, I can tell you need it." Marie spoke handing me the glass cup as I nodded, "Thank you. I just realised how life has taken a full three sixty turns after the death of Jace.” I whispered so only she could hear, she rubbed my back sympathetically. I took a sip of the drink moaning at the fresh and beautifully hungry smell invaded my nostrils. "Everyone is suffering from the pain, Ivory. Its time you look into future.” Marie spoke her voice stern as she held my palm looking me in her eyes as she smiled weakly as if feeling pity towards me. She did not understand, I was the cause of someone's death, his spirit would never forgive me. "Your right.” I mumbled pulling away from her grip. I walked towards the door shifting uncomfortably yet the thought of his ghost stayed like a nightmare printed in my head, I had no clue what it was; a spirit perhaps. ..... Standing behind my sister as I watched her climb up the stage, the cold breeze of the venue hit the side of my cheeks, the venue was outside on a beach everything was white and the welcoming sound of the shore. It was a perfect place to get married but the weather was not perfect. The clouds darkened, as if it could rain any minute I wasn't sure if anybody noticed or they tended to ignore it. My head tilted up looking at the weather darken at each minute that goes by, it made me remember all those times as I was young when my nanny would tell me god was mad when the thunder roared and I would scream in fright for my father but he would never come. The same roar shook the earth, as wind blew into everyone's face, but no one bothered to complain or stand up they silently stared at the couple who were to wed. "Today we have all re-joined to accept the marriage of two couple, who’s soul and body would be combined after this ceremony till eternity. “A paused was filled when another roar was heard before everything went silent and the priest began once again. "We are here as witness to see and hear the vow of Mr Ezra King and Miss Iyla Costello, Before we begin this ceremony is there anyone to object to this marriage? “He questioned as he looked around waiting for anyone to stand up and object. I object I wanted to scream, but my voice was captured somewhere inside my throats as I gasped to let out a breath. I took a step back shutting my eyes knowing I was the cause to my sisters destruction, the reason why she was not with her lover but with a man she did not love. "Do you Miss Iyla Costello agree to be the companion of Mr Ezra King and vow to be faithful and loyal and be with him through health, sickness, poor and rich? “The priest questioned, there was silence as everyone turned to look at Iyla as I hoped she would say no and run away. "I Do.” She answered, and all the hope flew out, as I lowered my gaze ashamed at myself. "Do you Mr Ezra King agree to be the companion of Miss Iyla Costello and vow to be faithful and loyal and be with him through health, sickness, poor and rich?” Screams filled the venue as everyone's eyes snapped towards the guest as heavy rain drops began to fall and everyone began to run as I gasped running along trying to escape from the droplets of rain. "You both are now pronounced husband and wife.” screamed the priest, the vow was done and know I was next. A murder weds a murder.
