Chapter 5: Wedding Pt2 POV Ivory Costello I glared at my appearance. My dried hands trail down the white dress, the netted laced top attached to the foot length dress. I had a diamond choker around my neck as if I was a dog with a collar, my face was caked up making me look annoyingly beautiful. I stood outside the double door of the church, I was a step away from ruining my future and stepping into being a person which I swore to never be again. Illegitimate. "Come on. “Mason Costello aka my father said, he blank eyes stared ahead as he held my upper arms I stood frozen as I watched as he nudged me forward. Signalling his fingers, the guards opened the double door which gave the long pathway of the red carpet which lead toward the man in a three-piece black Armani suit. Please don't do this. I wanted to yell but those thoughts just stayed in my head, as I balled my fist together digging my nails into my palms as I could feel my nails cut through my flesh. There was not what I imagined my wedding to be, there was no white curtains hung from the ceiling it was plain brown no effort added, there was no light to give brightness instead there was yellow ceiling lights with small wishing candles. There sat only the people who hated me and those who welcomed Iyla opened handily. "Congratulation welcome to hell. “Iyla whispered into my ears, my heart shattered as I turned my head to stare at her. "I-"I stuttered as I gaze in front at the extended hand, I saw the Rolex watch around his wrist. I felt the arms on my upper arms release, instantly I wrapped my wrist behind my back. "Mr Costello!” King Ezra spoke, his lips stretched into a straight line as he arched his right eye brows towards father. “yes, King Ezra. “Father spoke, he turned to look at me his blank eyes had gave me a daring look as he grabbed my tensed hands and placing it on the palm of the beast. “This marriage means nothing, it’s the night I await. “He whispered into my ears as my father walked towards my step mother who burnt hole into me with her glaring eyes. "Shall we begin the vows. “The priest spoke the white robe he wore, he had a small catholic cross on his right robe. "Begin. “Spoke the devil himself, his hands raised up a smirk on his lips as his not once drifted from me. "Do you Miss Ivory Costello agree to be the companion of His majestic Ezra King and vow to be faithful and loyal and be with him through health, sickness, poor and rich? “The priest questioned, his eyes bored into me, they held sympathy. No! I wanted to say but I knew, I made a deal and a Costello never back from a deal made. "I do. “I said tearing my eyes away from the striking hazel eyes. "Do you his majestic Ezra King agree to be the companion of Miss Ivory Costello and vow to be faithful and loyal and be with him through health, sickness, poor and rich?" Please say no! "I do." We shared those fake vows. Our lips pronounced lovely cheesy words, but our hearts spelled them with spite and venom. We hate each other yet we are living on the same piece of earth. We are pure opposites. And I knew him for a week assured me that that stupid bastard of a Greek god cares about nothing other than looks, girls, money and comfort. I watched my parents fall into his trap and will call me stupid and won't give up until they see him happy or me pregnant. Everyone was his puppet. He played them with his fingers, and they danced as he wanted. I vow to hate you till eternity "I love you Wifey he spoke sarcastically, with a million-pound smirk plastered on his face. I rolled my eyes and watched his jaws clench. "Remember, love. I hate when people roll their eyes at me, you’ll be punished.” He whispered, I could tell his punishment was nothing abusive but dirty like his thoughts.
