Lyric The sunlight creeping in through Zay’s blinds should’ve felt warm. Soft. But all it did was highlight everything I didn’t want to face. His arm was still around my waist, steady. Like nothing ever happened. Like that shady ass DM didn’t crawl into my phone last night and whisper doubt into my ear. I laid still, pretending to sleep — trying to sort through the storm in my chest. Zay stirred behind me.
