Chapter 32:

Selina POV I woke up to a strong floral scent that permeated the room. I opened my eyes dreamily, Yami was long gone, the position beside me also became cold, but I got used to it. I covered my mouth and yawned slightly, realizing that the glass vase in the room had just added another flower. The petals bloomed in the soft light of the early morning, the leaves were still moist with the morning dew, and the sharp thorns on the branches were broken as before. I realized that the flowers Yami gave me were surprisingly lush. The first rose he gave me was still plump even after a few days had passed. The light floral scent in the air brings a very pleasant feeling, it seems that the space in the bedroom also becomes much fresher. I bent my head closer to the flowers. Soft petals graze the tip of my nose. The scent is strong but not harsh, making me feel very comfortable. In a way, they are very similar to Yami, both are quiet, gentle, mysterious and charming, the existence of which both makes me feel satisfied and grateful. Maybe tonight I will say thank you to Yami for these beautiful flowers. I stretched and sat up from the bed. Sunlight filtered through my window. I flung the door open, taking a deep breath of the fresh morning air. I reached out my hand to catch the golden rays of the sun, my white skin in the sunlight seemed to glow. I looked at my elbow in surprise, it was completely healed without any trace of damage. Apparently I had a really bad fall yesterday after running away from the delinquents in the school. I still remember clearly on the elbow there was a pretty deep scratch, after applying the medicine it still swelled up like a worm lying on it. I ran my hand over the spot, but the smooth feeling was not fake at all, the shiny skin had no trace of it, like the wounds I saw yesterday were just an illusion. I quickly crouched down to look at my knees. I remember this place also had a pretty deep wound. Yesterday when the nurse bandaged me, the bandage was soaked with blood, it looked very scary. It was impossible for me to misremember such an obvious and attention-grabbing detail. But strangely enough, when I looked down at my knee, it was as smooth as if there had never been a wound lying on it. I gasped, feeling incredulous. I pressed my hand on that spot, and didn't feel any pain, which made me panic even more. I rushed into the bathroom, took off my nightgown and stood in front of the large mirror. The transparent glass clearly reflected my figure in it, allowing me to see every part of my body. I was so surprised that my eyes widened when I realized that what I saw just now was completely true. How could the wounds on my body disappear completely overnight? I even bought scar healing medicine and had a headache thinking how to make the ugly scars disappear completely. So I didn't have time to apply medicine or do anything last night, but the scratches and zigzag scars just disappeared without leaving a trace? How could you? I don't feel happy, but also scared. What happened to my body? Am I still a normal human being? Or have I turned into some strange species? I panicked, grabbed the phone and called Bella. It only took half a minute for her to pick up the phone. "Bella, Bella!!! I don't know what to do! Everything is so weird! Am I human?" Maybe Bella was spooked by my rushed intonation. I quickly reassured me. "Calm down! You have to calm down, Selina! Tell me what happened! What's your problem?" I took a few long deep breaths, then took a big gulp of water. The panic also seemed to follow the flow of water into my stomach, which calmed me down a bit. But I am still very nervous, as evidenced by my voice trembling non-stop. "Bella, this morning after I woke up, I checked my body and realized yesterday's wounds are all gone! Remember? Yesterday the nurse put bandages on me everywhere! where, on elbows, knees, even calves, but this morning the wounds were all gone!I didn't even have time to apply the medicine, last night I was tired and went to bed as soon as you came back about, so how can the wound heal so quickly?" My voice almost sounded like crying. I'm really panicking, I don't know what happened and what should I do now. "Selina, it's okay, don't panic. So do you feel pain anywhere?" I nodded involuntarily, then pressed hard on the places where I remember it was injured yesterday. However, not only the traces disappeared, but the pain was also absent. I sniffled into the phone. "No. Bella, I don't feel any pain. It's real, it's not my hallucination. The real wound has healed!" There was silence on the other end for a few seconds. Looks like Bella is also trying to accept what I say. "Okay, it's okay, wait for me a moment, I'll come pick you up. We can go to the hospital to check it out, I'm sure the doctor will know why." I gently said yes. After hanging up the phone, I slid to the floor. I still can't believe it, it's not like I've never been injured before, but I've never been so miraculously healed. I remember when I was in kindergarten, I fell a lot, so I brought my injury home almost every day. Even a small scratch will take a few days to heal completely, deeper wounds, even if they heal, still leave faint scars. I have never encountered such a strange situation before. Do I have a strange disease or not? I tried to google for results, but the information listed is meaningless, nothing was found there. I think my situation is so strange that perhaps no one has ever encountered it, or it is so rare that information about it is not explicitly made public. I sat for a while until the doorbell rang, Bella was at my door within ten short minutes. I opened the door and hugged her, I'm feeling so scared right now and I want someone to lean on. I wish I had Yami here right now, but I can't. That thought made me want to cry even more. Maybe Bella was spooked by my rushed intonation. I quickly reassured me. "Calm down!
