Kalev’s POV A lot of the council members were already in the room. The others came flooding in within ten minutes. One of them scowled at me. “Shall we meet in the council chamber?” he scoffed. “No,” I snapped. There wasn’t time. I had to do this fast. Senna was still unconscious. The seconds were ticking by. “What are you doing?” My mother appeared at my side. She grabbed my wrist. “What is this about, Kalev?” I brushed her off of me. I didn’t have time to explain. I just had to do it. It was a bit unorthodox, to assemble the council in a public room like this.
