Kalev’s POV
The main room cleared at midnight. Everyone went out to drink and gossip about the day’s events. I sent the night techs out by telling them I needed the floor. They went gratefully.
Endrick and I were able to open the sealed records. He didn’t have the right key. Since the records hadn’t been opened In 60 years, he had to search his family’s vault for the key that would open them. I had no idea what was in those records, but I knew it had something to do with the flora wolf extinction.
Endrick knew too. And I had the feeling there was something he wasn’t telling me. But I would find out soon enough.
