Kalev’s POV
I pulled the logs twice. Then a third time. I stared at it in utter disbelief. It was the same result. How could that be?
“Run it again,” I snapped at the technician.
The technician frowned. “It’s not going to change.”
“Run it.” I seethed.
He sighed and followed my orders.
The screen flickered and the data scrolled.
There it was. Plain as day. Feral deployment. Release for the western ridge.
My stomach dropped and my jaw tightened.
“That’s not a glitch,” I said out loud.
“No,” the technician agreed. “It’s a redirect.”
“I can see that.”
The ferals were to be deployed in the eastern forest. Not the western ridge. That’s what I’d instructed.
