Chapter 32: The Beach

Senna’s We finally got to the beach. Korrigan held up his hand for us to stop behind him. We did. Through the trees, we could see the vast expanse of sand. No one was on the beach. No one alive, anyway. The pristine white sand was stained with blood. Bodies, some wolf, some human, lay in the sand in mangled messes. The sharp scent of blood was thick in the air. Thor gagged. I pushed down the bile that rose in my throat. We could all see. The fights that had broken out on this beach. It was grueling and disgusting and it made me want to vomit.
