CHAPTER 2: NICK Nick checked his watch. Sarah should be here in another five minutes or so, unless she was late. She’d better not be late. He poured them each a drink and started the radio on his phone. He picked a station that played slow, romantic songs and took his drink and sat on the couch. He hated waiting.
