Courtney and Ethan arrived at the dance after the others because they had to finish singing the song on the stereo first. She almost laughed at how perfectly iconic the gym looked. Streamers, colored balloons, glitter, all of it right out of a teen movie. The theme was “The End of the Rainbow,” which was actually pretty original, but no less cheesy than any other dance theme. They took their photo with a backdrop of rainbow colored streamers and a pot of gold, and neither of them could keep a straight face long enough to get a good shot. Ethan kept looking for a leprechaun.
