“In This Diary” – The Ataris
Courtney slept without dreaming of Ethan for the first time since they had broken up. Instead, pancakes were calling her name when she awoke, and that prompted her to get ready quickly. She twisted sections of her curls back into bobby pins, trying something new. She threw on a tight fitting white t-shirt and low rise jeans, unsure of what one should wear to a post-homecoming IHOP breakfast.
Ben picked her up just before ten. She hopped down the stairs and out the door to meet him. He bent down and gave her a serious hello kiss, and she must have looked surprised.
“I just had to make sure last night was real, and that I didn"t dream the part where I could kiss you,” he explained, smiling so that his dimples showed. She kissed him again, returning the sentime
