Being true to his word both to Courtney and his mom, Ethan strengthened his resolve to be himself and be less miserable. It was going okay. Or so he told himself. He practiced with the band often, his homework was always done on time, and his sister was thrilled because he offered to read The Hunger Games with her… again. Courtney definitely won the Girlfriend of the Year award with the package she mailed.
