I glanced over to Alaina. She was curled up to Jordan on the end of the couch. She was finally sleeping. Kya was lying on Jeremy’s lap sleeping too. I wanted Wendy. Alaina gave free reign to her kitchen for the computer team, security forces team and the cops. Harper and Hope were asleep in their fenced-in area on the floor. Newton and Da Vinci were curled around their sides. Stefan and Suu Lee took the kids to bed. He wanted to have fresh eyes.
I heard a little quiet commotion in the kitchen. I looked at Jeremy and he looked towards the kitchen. Jordan looked over his shoulder as best as he could to see too. I got up. Jeremy and Jordan carefully maneuvered out from under Alaina and Kya. They were soon on my heals as I went into the kitchen.
