A shiver went down my spine when I sensed him behind me. His eyes were already evoking unwanted sensations in me.
Giving a strange sensation that I wanted to stop. I had no idea how I could feel this way.
“Good Evening, Mr. Cannedy.”
Sarah greeted him with a smile as I didn’t look at him.
His eyes were inducing weird feelings in me. I bet he must be doing that deliberately, he knew what his stares were doing.
“Hey, Sarah. How are you?” He asked politely, not removing his eyes from me.
His one hand in his pocket, hovering behind me with a questionable smirk that sent a shiver down my spine.
I held my elbow and averted my gaze.
“Fine. You?” She continued.
“Good. Um… Saafia, listen.”
My heart began to pound to sense him behind me, faking a cough to get me attention.
