As they finished their drinks, Alex turned to Emily with a mischievous glint in his eye. “Want to see something cool?” He asked, his. Voice low and husky. Emily’s curiosity was piqued. “What is it?” She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Alex just smiled and stood up, gesturing for Emily to follow him. They walked out of the bar, into the cool night air. The streets were bustling with people, but Alex seemed to know exactly where he was going. As they turned a corner, Emily’s eyes widened in awe. Parked in front of them was a beautiful black Lamborghini, it’s custom design gleaming under the streetlights. The car looked like a jaguar, it’s sleek lines and curves seeming to ripple with power. “Wow,”Emily breathed, her eyes fixed on the car. “Who owns this?” Alex just walked over to the car, clicking a button on his key fob. The passenger door swung open, revealing a luxurious interior. “Get in” Alex said. Emily hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But Alex’s aura was captivating and she found herself getting into the car. As they drove through the streets of New York, Emily felt like she was in a dream. The city was buzzing with energy, the lights and sounds blending together in a kaleidoscope of colour and sound. Alex drove with ease, navigating the crowded streets with a confidence that was both impressive and intimidating. Emily found herself feeling drawn to him, despite the fact that he was still secretive and hadn’t really opened up to her. After a while, Alex pulled over, parking the Car in quiet alleyway. He turned to Emily, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous light. “This is how I get away from bad days,” he said, his voice low and husky. “Just a drive, with my bad boy car.” Emily smiled, feeling a sense of wonder and excitement. She had never felt this way before, like she was living in a dream. As they sat there, the only sound the hum of the engine, Emily felt a sense of connection to Alex that couldn’t explain. It was like they were two souls, connected by some unseen force. After a while, Alex started car again, and they drove back to the bar. As they pulled up, Emily felt a sense of disappointment, like the night was coming to an end too soon. But Alex just smiled and turned off the engine. “The night is still young, you know?” His eyes glinting. “Want to grab some breakfast with me?” “By 1am?” She asked. “ it’s morning already sweetheart” Alex said turning into an unknown street, without even waiting for an answer. Alex smiled and got out of the car, opening the passenger door for Emily. As they walked away from the car, Emily felt a sense of hope. She had no idea what the rest of the night held, but with this man, she was ready to find out. They walked to a nearby dinner, the neon lights glowing beacon in the night. Inside, the dinner was bustling with activity, the smell of coffee and bacon filling the air. Alex and Emily slid into a booth, the vinyl creaking beneath them. Alex picked up a menu, scanning it with a practiced eye. “What do you want?” He asked Emily, his voice low and husky. Emily shrugged, feeling a little overwhelmed. “I don’t know,” she said. “What’s good here?” Alex gave a quick smile, his eyes glistening with amusement. “Everything,” he said. “But if you want my recommendation, get “nothing”. Emily laughed, feeling a sense of happiness . She had never felt this way before, like she was living in a dream. As Alex ordered something off the menu for both of them. When their food arrived, Emily took a bite of her pancakes, and she wondered why he chose pancakes. She thought it was thoughtful of him. They were the best she had ever tasted, fluffy and light and drizzled with just the right amount of syrup. As she ate, she noticed Alex didn’t touch his food. She really wanted to know more about this stranger. She was getting a glimpse into a whole new world. As she finished her breakfast, Alex leaned back in his chair, a relaxed smile spreading across his face. He looked like a man who didn't have a care in the world, like he was king of the universe and everyone else was just a subject. Emily couldn't help but feel drawn to him, like a moth to a flame. There was something about Alex that was just so...cool. He was like a relaxed, bad boy version of James Dean, minus the angst. As they sat there, Alex started to drum his fingers on the table, a lazy rhythm that seemed to match the beat of Emily's heart. He was looking at her, his eyes locked on hers, and Emily felt like she was drowning in their depths. "You know, Emily," Alex said, his voice low and husky, "I've been thinking. You seem like a girl who could use a little excitement in her life." Emily's heart skipped a beat as she met Alex's gaze. What was he suggesting? And why did she feel like she was melting into his eyes? "I mean, you're a beautiful girl," Alex continued, his voice dripping with sincerity. "You deserve to have a little fun. To live a little." Emily felt like she was being hypnotized by Alex's words. She couldn't look away, couldn't think straight. All she could do was nod, like a puppet on a string. "Yes," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'd like that." Alex smiled, a slow, lazy smile that seemed to spread across his face like honey. "Good," he said. "I'll make sure you have a night to remember." And with that, Alex stood up, tossing a few bills on the table to pay for their breakfast. Emily followed him, feeling like she was walking on air. As they walked out of the diner, Alex put his arm around Emily's shoulders, pulling her close. Emily felt a sense of excitement and wonder, like she was embarking on a wild adventure. And as they walked off into the sunrise, Emily couldn't help but feel like she was falling, falling, falling...into the depths of Alex's eyes, and into the unknown. The night was cold. Alex's arm remained around Emily's shoulders, his hand casually draped over her shoulder blade. Emily felt a thrill run through her at the touch, but she tried to play it cool, not wanting to seem too eager. They walked in silence for a while, the only sound being the hum of the city waking up around them. Emily felt a sense of comfort with Alex, like she'd known him for years, not just hours. As they turned a corner, Alex's phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out and glanced at the screen, his expression unreadable. "Sorry, I've got to take this," he said, dropping his arm from around Emily's shoulders. Emily nodded, feeling a pang of disappointment at the loss of contact. She watched as Alex walked a few feet away, his voice low and serious as he spoke into the phone. As she waited, Emily couldn't help but notice the way Alex's eyes seemed to gleam in the morning light, or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. She felt a flutter in her chest, and suddenly, she was aware of just how attracted she was to him. Alex finished his call and walked back over to Emily, his expression still serious. "Sorry about that," he said. "Business." Emily nodded, trying to play it cool. "No worries," she said. "I understand." Alex smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm glad you do," he said. "Now, where were we?" Emily laughed, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "I think we were just walking," she said. Alex nodded, his arm slipping back around her shoulders. "Right," he said. "Let's keep walking, then." Emily has never felt this way before, never. She felt a sense of excitement building inside her. She had no idea what the day would bring, but with Alex by her side, she was ready for anything.
