I was turning to go to my room when he spoke.
"So you're dating now."
I stopped.
It wasn't a question. It had the specific quality of something that had been sitting in his chest all evening and had come out slightly rougher than intended.
I turned around. "Sorry?"
"Felix." He said the name like it had done something to him personally. "You're dating."
"I went on one dinner."
"That you came home from early."
"He had an emergency."
