The day had sped by like a blur; Madeline had had her breakfast quietly after agreeing to not try to escape during the event. She hadn’t expected the luxury treatment that followed, she had been lead to a part of the mansion she had never been before, it struck her as a spa, what she didn’t understand was why there was a spa in the house.
Her nails had been manicured, her hair had been steamed, oiled and straightened, and she had even received a massage.
