Madeline couldn’t help the tears that continued to stream down her cheeks, she had wiped them off, blinked to clear her vision, and she had taken a deep breath to calm herself; it was all futile. She had done it over and over again, and when she realized she was only wasting her time, she decided to let her tears fall unstopped and unhindered.
