“Impossible… she’s on the headlines again!” Cassandra threw the fashion magazine in her hands, its glossy pages scattering across the floor. Rosemary’s photo, wearing her masterpiece gown, shone brightly on the cover, her victorious smile stabbing straight into Cassandra’s heart. She paced back and forth in the apartment, her face flushed with anger. “Always Rosemary! Always her being praised, while me? I’m nothing but… a shadow!” The door creaked open. Adrian stepped out of his study, his shirt wrinkled. “What now, Cassandra?” Cassandra spun around, her eyes sharp. “Don’t you see? The world worships her!
