She stood and walked toward the center platform again.
The moment she stepped into the circle of light, the familiar silver glow returned, spreading gently across her skin.
Kael leaned against a nearby pillar, watching carefully.
“Start small,” he said.
Aria lifted her hand.
Instead of forcing the energy outward like before, she focused on guiding it.
Thin strands of silver light appeared again—soft, floating threads swirling around her fingers.
But this time they didn’t flicker or explode.
They moved smoothly.
Controlled.
Aria smiled slightly.
“Okay… that’s easier.”
Kael nodded approvingly.
“You’re learning to listen to it.”
She looked at him.
“To the magic?”
He shook his head.
“To the moon.”
Aria focused again.
The threads of silver light slowly drifted outward, forming a glowing circle in the air in front of her.
She held it there for several seconds.
Then slowly pulled the energy back into her palm.
The light vanished.
She blinked.
“Did I just do that perfectly?”
Kael pushed off the pillar.
“You did.”
Aria laughed quietly.
“Maybe this MoonBorn thing won’t be so hard after all.”
Kael walked closer.
“Don’t get too confident.”
She rolled her eyes.
“Let me enjoy the moment.”
He smiled.
“Fair.”
