I walked out of my room, and mom and Luziann had a hot lunch ready for us. I smiled as I noticed a hot cup of coffee sitting there ready for me.
“That all smells great,” I said sitting next to Porter and picked up my mug and took a sip of hot coffee. “Mmm, that is good.”
“Thanks, I got it ready for you,” Porter said taking a bite of his lunch.
“Thank you.” I smiled then took another sip. Lunch was hot and amazing. Afterward I got up from the table, and I picked up my empty plate and Porter's plate and took it to the kitchen and rinsed them off and placing them in the strainer.
