Cynthia's POV
"Public rejection! Even if Alpha Logan had the best temper, he couldn't endure a wolfless she-wolf humiliating him in public. Sandra was trying to get me killed!
"Alpha Logan will kill me!" I cried out. Sandra's face twisted into a malicious smile. "My poor Cynthia, killing a wolfless would do nothing to tarnish his noble reputation."
I clenched my fists tightly, hating myself for not having a wolf. Seeing how angry I was, Sandra laughed gleefully. "Since you don't want this necklace, I might as well destroy it in front of you."
Her hand transformed into a wolf claw and toyed with the only necklace my mother left me. Feeling anxious, I yelled at her, "If you destroy it, I'll immediately accept Alpha Logan's proposal and kill you all at any cost!"
