"Grace looked at me with surprise, and she seemed equally taken aback. "You weren't told?" she asked.
I shook my head. "What happens if I don't pass the exam?"
"Usually, a she-wolf must systematically learn to be a Luna and then take an exam. However, your situation is special. You became Luna first and then learned the courses."
There was a hint of pity in her eyes. "So, it's hard to say whether you'll pass or if the Elder Council will use this as an excuse to reject your Luna ceremony, embarrass you, and force you to give up your position as Luna."
Hearing her say this made me feel a little worried. No wonder Adam did this.
"Thank you, Grace," I said sincerely.
"I'm just doing what I'm supposed to do. And... I'm telling you this not because I'm kind,"
