Alpha Richard and his council sat down to discuss the preparation with regards to the letter sent to Alpha Damien.

"Alpha I still don't think its wise to give one of our most precious herbs to the crescent moon pack, they might find out our secret" one of the elders said

Now a little background on the stone bite pack

They are the most primitive and secretive pack among other packs, always keeping to themselves and not interacting with other packs because they have a secret that would make them the target of other alphas.

Each pack member is blessed with a gift from the moon goddess immediately they mark their mate but only when they are within the pack. They tend to lose that gift when they are outside the pack. It is said that their pack was the dwelling of the moon goddess when she came to create werewolves that's why their lands are blessed with herbs of different properties and their mountains with the purest water.

Alpha Richard's intention is to send a group of people into the crescent moon pack in order for them to find their mates disguised as refugees. He didn't come to this decision suddenly. His son had met with alpha Damien a long time ago in the human city and assured him that he is a very sensible person and their best bet at this point.

"Mates have found their mates within the pack and others are yet to find theirs at this point we might as well go extinct. Is that what you want elder Markus? Alpha Damien Is not a fool if we do not give something tangible in return he would refuse our offer. Besides the herb is just one of many, it's not like we are giving him everything." Alpha Richard said addressing everyone.

"The alpha is right" Alpha Richard's son Alex walked in and greeted the Alpha.

"Alpha Damien is really smart. Not giving something in return is foolish. He would never accept such request seeing that we aren't acquaintances in the first place. So this is the right thing to do." Alex continued

"How are the preparations coming up?" Alpha Richard asked his son.

"A camp has been set up for the first set of people and they are ready to go, a lot of things are being put in place to ensure their safe journey to the crescent moon pack. The people are really happy about this development, they are eager to meet their mates."

Him included. He said that part to himself

"That's good. Everything is going as planned. We just need a go ahead from Alpha Damien. I pray he agrees."

"By the moon goddess he will" one of the elders said in agreement.

Back in the camp

Two girls were hiding behind a tree

"You can't go you would get caught diane pls don't go" Natasha Diane's friend begged her

"I have to go. What if he is there? You know I keep having dreams about him since I turned 20. I can't stay I need to at least try and find him. This might be my only chance."

23 years old diane, is one of the female healers in the stone bite back. The female healers are not allowed to leave the pack under any circumstances not even to find their mates. Diane intends to disguise herself and go with them to the crescent moon pack. No one has seen the face of a healer before because their faces are always covered so no one would recognise her.

"You are not thinking of the consequences that follow this" Natasha said trying to knock some sense into her friend's head.

"Don't worry my friend I won't get caught trust me" Diane said reassuring her friend.

"Take care of yourself diane" Natasha said and they both hugged

The day came, Alpha Damien had sent his approval and everything was put in place just in time.

"Get your stuff ready we live at dawn" one of the warriors addressed the crowd.

Diane had made a lot friends since she arrived at the camp, three in particular were her best friends; Ana, rose and Elizabeth.

They hurriedly packed up their stuff and put things in order before tomorrow. The whole place was bustling with people dancing and laughing around the bonfire. It was such a joyous atmosphere.

When morning came, they set out on the journey with the warriors leading them.

On the way they talked about how happy they are to meet their mates and how life would be for them afterwards.

"I can't wait to meet him. I see him in my dreams every night. And guess what guys?" She said looking at them

"What is it?" They all asked in excitement

"He is freaking hot" she said and they all giggled like children.

"I haven't seen mine, does that mean he is ugly?" Rose asked no one in particular

"I don't know. He might be old, fat and ugly" Ana said in a playful tone and they all laughed

"That's not fair" rose said eyes teary

"Relax Rosabella, I am just kidding. Of course your mate is handsome. I just know it." Ana said trying to calm her friend down.

"Yes rose" the others said in agreement.
