MNEMOSYNE AND I stared at each other. I seemed to know where would be the conversation coming.
Mnemosyne sighed. "It's hard to explain---"
"I thought I would be safe here---that's what you have said, right? Why do you hid me from the people and most especially the guards? Why do you need to lie?" Curchi asked simultaneously. She even stepped back while looking at us suspiciously.
"Calm down, what we said that you will be safe here is true. You will be safe in our hands, Curchi." I said and she stared at me in the eye. Fear dominants in her eyes' emotions. "We will---"
I stopped when suddenly the door creaked open and the gorgeous woman in purple came in. She looked at us and once her eyes landed on Curchi, her eyes widened.
