A New Neighbor

Today Logan sits down at her desk five minutes early. She then remembers there is a meeting for her to greet her new colleagues. She goes into the conference room there are already people in there she introduces herself to everyone. She talked with people then the meeting ended and everyone had to go back to work. She met a few people she liked but most of them made no effort. Logan starts thinking about the people she met. Let’s see I met Kellie who is kind she is also a part time model and if you see her you instantly know why. She met Tré who was a little aggressive at first but he is funny and good company to have around. Then there was Lucas, who is so cute but he knows it and is quite cocky because of that. The rest of the day went well. She was given new tasks to complete which was interesting. The most fun however, was most definitely catching Mr. Marcam check up on her once every hour. Not quite sure why though, probably because he wanted to make sure I was working. Then she got home and sees a moving truck in front of her neighbor’s house, she heads inside to make a pie or cookies or most likely buy something. Option three is chosen because Logan cannot bake for the life of her. After coming home from the store Logan takes the cookies over and knocks on the door. After a few seconds the door swings open to reveal her new neighbor. Standing in front of her is a tall man with shoulder length black hair, broad shoulders, piercing blue eyes, and a jaw line so defined you could cut yourself. He has yet to say anything and yet with him just standing in front of Logan she is intimidated by his good looks. Logan realizes she looks like a fool standing at his door not being introduced, staring at his face and, blushing. He notices her staring and almost as if he was self-conscious he looks away and starts rubbing the back of his neck. Logan decides to speak after noticing his obvious discomfort.  

“Hello, my name is Logan. I am your new neighbor you can ask me if you need anything. I also bought cookies to welcome to the neighborhood.” 

“Hello Logan, my name is Michael. It is nice to meet you and very kind of you to stop by. Also thank you for the cookies.” 

“Of course, I will leave these with you and take my leave. Nice meeting you Michael.”
