WILLOW'S POV. “Willow.” His voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I blinked and looked up, realizing Atlas was still standing in front of me—his eyes no longer on my face but fixed on my side, right where I’d shown him the wound moments ago. “Were you bitten by Beta Magnus last night?” he asked, his tone low and unreadable. I frowned. “How do you know it was a bite?” He didn’t answer right away. His gaze stayed locked on my side, his expression calm but intense. For a moment, I saw something flicker in his eyes, but it disappeared just as quickly. After a long pause, he finally shrugged. “Because there are only a handful of things strong enough to leave a wound that deep on a werewolf.
