WILLOW'S POV. The morning air was cold as I stepped into the woods. Everything was quiet, still early. I hadn’t slept again last night. So as soon as I saw the hint of sunlight, I gave up trying and went for a run instead. Running usually helped clear my head — or at least, it used to. I didn't know about today. This morning, I wasn’t alone. Leah, Olivia, Mason, and Caleb came with me — my team, my people. Our footsteps matched as we jogged through the forest trail behind the Obsidian Crescent Pack House.
