Chapter Three: Supposed Boyfriend

Jane slowly opened her eyes, the bright hospital lights blurring her view.
"...are you okay? Miss Frost?"
Anne worriedly said as she leaned over Jane.
"...where...where am I?"
Jane asked as she came to.
"Miss, Do you happen to remember who brought you here?"
Anne asked
"No...what happened last night?"
Jane asked as she slowly sat up.
"Miss Frost. A young man carried you here, but...he refused to say his name"
The nurse said.
"How did he look like?"
Anne asked the nurse.
"He was drenched, and he wore a white shirt with black jeans... I think he was blonde too..."
The nurse described.
"He was blonde?..."
Jane asked.
"Do you know him?"
Anne quickly asked_
Jane smiled slightly and sighed softly, like she was relaxed and happy.
"So um...nurse how much is everything?" Anne asked frightfully.
"Just pay directly"
Jane said as she packed up.
"Miss, I'm afraid our funds are a bit low"
Anne whispered.
Jane paused...
"Seriously Anne, what are you talking about?"
"Miss, after getting that present for your brother, your money suffered a huge reduce"
Anne explained
"How much did James' present cost again... Was it up to a thousand?"
Jane asked...hoping she would hear something different.
"Actually, it's a bit over a thousand?"
Anne said slowly.
"What?! I bought something like that for that doofus of a boy!!!"
Jane exclaimed in a way that was more opposite of her usual demeanor.
The nurse stood surprised as she saw a different side of the famous Frost Heiress.
"Miss, we're in a hospital, please lower your voice"
Anne pleaded.
"...nurse, do you mind if I use my card?"
Jane asked
"...but... Miss, you said you'd never..."
Anne tried to say.
"Oh please, mother won't mind"
Jane said and handed the card to Anne.
Meanwhile_
As Joseph and Christopher walked on the campus ground, each with a popsicle in his mouth.
Students around them whispered...
"... I heard that Jane Frost did something questionable last night..."
"I thought she was some elegant rich brat... Turns out she's nothing but a phonie."
"Dude... Did you hear, Jane Frost was caught with a guy last night in the rain"
Christopher said as he glanced through his phone.
Joseph paused and looked back calmly.
"...you said?"
"I said, Jane Frost was..."
Christopher tried to say
"...I heard. Who spread this rumor?"
Joseph said scarily
"A blogger whose ID is I think 'Rowen_ ng_001.' I've never heard of him though"
Christopher explained.
"So, why are you concerned?"
Christopher said as he looked up, only to find that Joseph had run ahead.
Later...
"Miss, are you ready?"
Anne said eagerly outside Jane's door.
"Yeah, one minute"
Jane said as she emerged from within.
Her uniform fit her perfectly, she looked awesome in it. On her hair was an ornament gifted her by her younger brother James. The ornament represented a phoenix and it looked great in her sparkly red hair. Her flowy uniform skirt made Jane look like a model.
Her beauty was truly beyond compare.
"Miss, you look ravishing in your uniform"
Anne said.
"Oh, don't flatter me Anne... What is my first class"
Jane asked.
"Foreign language. Then after that you have Further Mathematics..."
Anne was saying.
"Just state what I have for now. You needn't list my schedule like before"
Jane said and walked out the door of her massive In-campus house.
"Miss, please wait... I have urgent news to report"
Anne said as she walked after Jane.
"We'll do that later Anne, let's focus on class for now."
Jane said and was about to get in the car.
Suddenly_
A yellow convertible sports car screeched to a rough stop in front of Jane's personal red Chevrolet Camaro.
Richard stepped out and stomped towards Jane.
"I never knew you were this fast"
Richard said
"Neither did I"
Jane said referring to the rate at which he drove his car.
"So, you have a boyfriend now?"
Richard said and smirked.
"What are you talking about?"
Jane said and ignored Richard, getting into the car.
"I understand that you need to get to class but... No one ignores me when I speak!"
Richard said arrogantly.
"Well, congratulations. This is your first. Anne, get in the car"
Jane said and drove away.
"Miss Frost. I'm afraid Mr. Jackson found out"
Anne said.
"Found out about what now? Anne?"
Jane said as she reviewed her lessons in the car.
"A rumor has spread, they say you were seen with a boy last night in a shed during the rain. It looked like you were kissing him."
Anne explained.
Jane looked up and turned to Anne...
"Really now Anne? Where did they come up with such a surprising story?"
Jane said and chuckled.
"Miss, aren't you worried your father might see this?"
Anne said
"Oh please. He can think whatever he wants. It's a pain, that boy must be feeling awkward now"
Jane said and smiled softly, plunging Anne into a library of questions.
So, just in that manner, Jane went off to class, she did hope she'd meet that guy again.
"Well, well, I'll ask his name today"
Jane thought as she went to class
