Chapter 5 - For Sale

I was terrified. I really needed this job, for money and just because I was tired of just sitting around, I needed something to do. 

I was sitting inside of the managers office and he was looking through my file. I couldn't get any sign from his facial expression that I was getting the job. Until he spoke. 

" You look like you could handle the job, Miss Rosa " again with that "miss" s**t.

" Please just call me Rosa " I added a smile with that so he knew I wasn't being rude of any sort. 

" Well then Rosa , you can start work tomorrow at 09:30 sharp " YES! I GOT THE JOB! 

" THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!! " I couldn't believe I had gotten the job, finally my life was getting better. 

" It's no problem, I'm John by the way " He held his hand out and I shook it " Nice to meet you John " I had a feeling I'd love this job.

" The pleasure is all mine Rosa " 

John seemed like he was in his 40's. He had silver hair and the most amazing grey eyes I'd ever seen. He wasn't a very fat man but he wasn't built a lot either. He had muscle but not a lot, He wore a suit and and a pair of polished black shoes.

" I guess I'll see you tomorrow! " I couldn't wait to start.

" Yes, I'll see you tomorrow " He said as he waved me goodbye and gave me a gentle smile.

I couldn't wait to tell my parents the news. Yea, you heard me I couldn't wait to tell my father either. I walked in the living room and I set my bags down. I needed to explain where I was yesterday, even though It'd be hard. But when I walked into the living room my mother was in tears and she was yelling at my father. 

" YOU CAN'T DO THAT, FIND ANOTHER WAY TO GET YOUR MONEY, YOU ARE'T SELLING OUR DAUGHTER...OVER MY DEAD BODY!! " sell...SELL....WHAT DOES SHE MEAN BY SELL ME. TO HELL WITH THAT. 

" I KNOW, YOU THINK I WANT TO DO THIS, NO I DON'T SHE'S OUR DAUGHTER FOR f**k SAKE " I still don't understand, I need answers. 

" what do you mean sell me dad..." I said as I walked into the living room very slowly...very carefully. 

" It's nothing hun, go to your room " Heh, no. 

" NO MOM EXPLAIN DAD YOU TO " I saw the fear in my moms eyes and the guilt in my dads...I couldn't stand it, I started to get really hot and I felt dizzy. 

wait when last did I take my anti-depressants...shit.  My stomach started to hurt and I felt hot, like really hot. I hadn't taken them in 3 days. I last took them when I went to the club with Dani for the first time and that was 3 days ago. I should have done my research on what would happen if I didn't...to late now, I have to take then quick. I walked over to the kitchen and looked for my pills, my hands were shaking and I was over-heating.

" WHILE I LOOK FOR MY GOD DAMN PILLS TELL ME WHATS GOING ON " I finally found them and looked for a glass to put water in. 

" Your father wants to sell you to the man he owns the money to so that he doesn't get killed, but I said NO " My mom glared at my dad and he started to scratch his neck. 

" WTF NO DAD, YOUR NOT SELLING ME " I found a glass and poured some water in it, I then drank my pill and sat down, the symptoms of healing wouldn't show till 6 hours, great. 

" Look Rosa, I don't want to do it but this man...he said he wanted you I begged him for something else but h-he just refused it..." I can't believe it, I'm pissed at my dad, does he think I'm a object that's just for sale? 

" Dad, I'm NOT for sale and I never will be, now get out of this house and find another way to get your money back " I didn't want to see my dad at the moment, I didn't have the stomach to look at him...or the energy. 

He looked at me with a sad look to it, why was he doing that? Like he was apologizing for something? 

" Fine but just know, and you'll find out why but...I'm sorry " And with that he was out of the house. My brother Leo just walked downstairs whistling until he saw my mom and I in tears, then he froze. 

" Mom, Rosa! are you okay?! " Poor Leo we had to tell him, I can't keep this from him " Come sit Leo, I'll tell you everything "

" He can't do that..right? " I hope he can't...I won't let him.

" I'm not going anywhere Leo, I can promise you that " He embraced me in a hug and I hugged him back just as tight, I was in pain but furious at the same time.

" I won't let him sell you Rosa, I promise YOU that " I pulled my mom in for the hug and we all laughed.

I called Dani and told her everything, skipping the Lorenzo part. I told her I went home yesterday and I forgot to call, she said it was alright but never again can I do that. She was crying over the phone because my father wanted to sell me and I couldn't handle hearing my bestie crying, so I calmed her down.

After calling her I ate some dinner, showered and got in bed. tomorrow was my first day of work, I of course forgot to tell my mom but I will in the morning.

I drifted off to sleep but was awoken by a hand covering my mouth, I struggled but the person held on me tight and before I knew it I passed out...and woke up in a familiar room..Lorenzos room...

" Hey Bella " he said with a smirk and when my vision was clear I saw my dad as well...wtf
