Chapter 7 - Ex's

{ Rosabellas POV } 

After a 10 minute cry session I got up and decided to get myself together and toughen up. I needed to be myself again, the smart, cocky, stubborn Rosabella. Not this, sad, un-motivated , weak Rosabella and I decided exactly how I was gonna claim my respect back. 

{ Lorenzos POV }

I wasn't proud of what I did, but I don't like disobedience and disrespect. I still couldn't believe I hit, threw and choked my Bella, but as my father always said:

Never let a woman see when you are vulnerable or weak because that makes her think you are less then a man.

Stupid. I know, but a part of me listened to what he said and to this day, that has made me the man I am now. 

I wanted Rosa for a very particular reason. She is first of all the first person to EVER disrespect me and live to tell the tale, even though she got badly hurt at least I didn't kill her. I needed her. I wanted her. I always get what I want no matter how hard I must work to get it.

I had told Rosabella we were going out tonight because I wanted her to forgive me. I was going to take her out for dinner then we'd get home and I'd f**k the s**t out of her.

I knew I'd only accomplish the first thing. Dinner, but I still had hope she'd give in.

I was wearing a black button-up, long sleeved shirt with black formal pants and my black, shined shoes.

I had told Rosa to get ready about an hour ago, so she must be ready...I hope.

I walked up the stairs and proceeded to walk to Rosas room while fixing the cuffs on my shirt when I finally made it to Rosas room. I knocked once and I was about to walk in when she pushed me out and closed the door. 

" Rosa, open the door " I said while trying to get in. Great she locked the door.

" No, I'm not ready, give me another 10 minutes " Ugh. woman, why do they have to take so long it's like their getting ready for a fashion show or something. 

" Fine, but only 10 no more if you take longer I'm going to break this door down understand? " I just heard her go mhm so I left it at that. I walked downstairs and waited in the kitchen.

About 8 minutes later, I heard heels tapping against the floor and then steps coming downstairs, and what I saw shocked me...she was...magnificent. 

{ Rosabellas POV }

I walked downstairs and stopped in-front of Lorenzo and posed in a sexy position just to taunt him.

I was wearing a long, tight red dress made by who knows. It showed all my curves and it didn't have a lot of cleavage. It had a slit on the side of it and as I stood I put my leg out so it showed.  It had spaghetti straps with diamonds on them, it had long sleeves and a piece of fabric was put on my middle finger. My shoulders were bare but it looked amazing with the whole thin straps with diamonds and the long sleeves that was supported by a piece of fabric making sure when I lifted my arms the sleeves wouldn't fall. I felt amazing with my dress, but the heels tied it all together. They were red with silver rod type things connecting the front of the heel with the back on both sides leaving a thin strip of the heel fabric in the front. My hair was curled and I had silver hoop earrings in. I had a nude color lipstick on with a bit of eye-shadow with mascara and eyeliner. 

I was ready to slay tonight, after the dinner I was going to ask Lorenzo if we can go to this charity ball I was supposed to attend to. And I had to call my boss and ask him if I can start a bit later in the week.

I gave Lorenzo a smile and walked up to him.

" Can we go now? Oh and after dinner we are going to a charity ball " I walked away straight after so he didn't get to say anything. There goes for ASKING if we can go, I sorta TOLD him we are going. I don't care he can't stop me.

As we arrived I noticed what restaurant we were at...Pranzo? Why were we here?

" Lorenzo? Why are we here? " He looked at me then looked out the window at the restaurant " Because Bella, it's now almost 9 in the evening and this restaurant has a VIP section we can go to...for privacy " What? I never knew this restaurant had something like that, I thought it was just a restaurant, but I guess not " Okay then, by the way the charity ball starts at 10, so we leave early " I said as I opened the door and got out. This was gonna be fun.

When we entered the restaurant all eyes were suddenly on me. I felt very self-conscious even though I knew I looked good. As I looked around the restaurant I couldn't help but notice John standing at the bar. While Lorenzo was doing what he was dong, I walked over to John just to say hey " Hey John " I said as I tapped his shoulder " Rosa! How nice to see you " as he said that he pulled me in for a loving hug " Nice to see you to " I gave him a polite smile and he gave me one back " You look stunning this evening, well you always look stunning " I couldn't hep but blush at the compliment " You look amazing as well, and by the way sorry I didn't come in today I got caught up in..something, I meant to ask if I can start later but it just slipped my mind " He gave me a nod and then a warm smile " It's very much alright and it is fine that you start later in the week " THANK GOD! As I was about to say thank you a familiar arm slipped around my waist and pulled me in closer to them, they pulled me so hard I tripped as they did so but only to land with my hand on their chest....Lorenzo.

" John so nice to see " I was very confused but then the both men shook hands and gave each other a curt nod " Mr.Rossi so glad you could come on this fine evening " Okay so they knew each other '" Are you accompanying Miss. Moretti? " I was about to say yes when Lorenzo said something that shocked the day-lights out of me " You mean Mrs.Rossi, and yes of course I'm accompanying her " WHAT.THE.FUCK.

I WASN'T MARRIED TO HIM, I WAS STILL MISS.MORETTI...HE'S GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO! 

" Oh I never knew you were married Rosa? " I scowled at Lorenzo then let out a grunt type laugh " I didn't know I was married either..." I glared at Lorenzo giving him that 'You will explain later' look " Yes we are getting married in 5 months " I had no words, I just stood there. " Well congrats to you both. Please excuse me " And with that he walked away " MARRIED?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR GODDAMN MIND?! " I said in a low tone as we walked to the back where I assumed was the VIP section " Yes, what about it? " I couldn't believe him right now was he serious? I am to young to be wedded...I'M ONLY 20 FOR GOD SAKE! " I'll let you explain later, for now I want to enjoy my evening " 

As we got seated, Lorenzo called a waiter and ordered our food.  I  didn't really come here often so Lorenzo offered to order for me. While we waited for the food Lorenzo and I spoke for a bit until he excuse himself to the bathroom, I nodded and he took off to the bathroom. While he was gone I took out my phone and played games and what not until I was rudely interrupted by a lady with amazing features. She had long, straight, black hair with a sun-kissed skin tone skin and beautiful brown eyes. She had pink, plump lips and a narrow yet perfect nose with her long eyelashes and makeup that looked amazing.

" Why hello my dear " She greeted in a soft, calming tone...Did I know her or? " Oh uh hi " I greeted back, she chuckled " And I thought Lorenzo only like straight black hair " she sighed. Okay well apparently she knew Lorenzo " I'm sorry but do I know you? " I asked with confusion in my voice " OH! no dear you don't...but Lorenzo does " She winked at me and I looked at her with pure confusion on my face.  Who is this woman and how does she know Lorenzo. I was about to ask her how she knew Lorenzo when speak of the devil Lorenzo came out of the bathroom and looked at us both. He froze in his pace looking at me then this woman, she smiled at him and did a little flirtatious wave and he cleared his throat and came to a stop at our table " Courtney, nice seeing you here " he said as he shook her hand and she fluttered her eyelashes. b***h . " Nice seeing you to Lorenzo, who is this fine lady you have here? " I was about to introduce myself, but he beat me to it " This is Rosabella, my fiance. Rosabella this is Courtney, my ex ' Oh..so this was his ex? " Ex fiance " she corrected. So he has been engaged before...typical. He glared at Courtney as she folded her arms and sat back " May I perhaps join you two for a bit? " She asks putting on this innocent act. I was about to say no but Lorenzo just had to say something first " Yes of course you may join us Courtney " He said as he gave her a warm smile. Hes never smiled at me like that before...well who am I kidding i'm just his toy.

It was 45 minutes later and we had already eaten and everything and Lorenzo hadn't spoken to me once since she sat down, I was on my phone most of the time so I didn't care one bit. I looked at the time and noticed it was almost 10 and I had to be at the Charity Ball in 15 minutes. I told Lorenzo we had to go and he nodded. He said bye to Courtney and so did I and we walked out the restaurant and climbed into the car.

The drive on our way there was very quiet and I didn't have to tell his driver where to go because I already gave him the address. When we arrived the whole place was lit up and look magnificent. I climbed out of the car and basically ran inside, when I got inside I saw Dani at the bar...as per usual. I made my way to her losing Lorenzo as I did so, then I finally made it to her " DANI! " I exclaimed. She stopped drinking and got up and gave me a hug, warm hug " ROSA, HEY! " She let go of me and told me to take a seat as she ordered drinks when suddenly Lorenzo popped out of now where and sat beside me 'Ugh I thought I lost him, WHY CAN'T HE JUST GO AWAY?'' I said to myself as I rolled my eyes at him. Dani came back with our drinks and stopped in her tracks when she saw Lorenzo by me and someone was behind her bu I couldn't see who. She was signaling something but I couldn't understand until someone came from behind her. Tristan?! " Hey Bell " he said as he scratched behind his neck, I was so happy to see him that I jumped out my seat to go and hug him, but Lorenzo grabbed my arm wanting to keep me still but I pulled away and basically jumped on Tristan. "Tristan! " I said as I got down from  the hug I gave him and kissed him on the cheek, Lorenzo stood up and stood behind me as I continued hugging Tristan. Tristan was my ex but I never stopped loving him, I had to break things off with him because I wasn't in a great state for a relationship. "How have you been my Bell? " I almost forgot how much of a gentleman he was, I gave him a warm smile and blushed " You should know me Tristan, I'm never doing okay " we all laughed except Lorenzo. He shook hands with Tristan then spoke " I'm Lorenzo, Rosabella-" before he could say anything  I interrupted him " He's a friend of mine " I glared at Lorenzo and he glared back...I knew my consequences, but I'll worry about that later " So your single still? " He asked and smiled after  " Yes I'm single " Lorenzo put his arm around my waist and started to put pressure. It started to hurt but he never stopped or let go of me " We must be going now " Lorenzo said as he basically pulled me away from them. I mouthed 'I'll text you later' at Dani and Tristan and they both nodded. I was scared of what Lorenzo would do to me...the look in his eyes was cold and full of anger...and with that I knew...I pushed him to much.
