The two women stood afront each other and stared straight at each other's eyes. Surrounding them, utter complete darkness. In between them, The Shadow Emerald hung suspended midair and shone bright green so much so that they could both see each other clearly.
In fact, they may not have been standing on anything themselves as you couldn't see the floor or anything else except them, just darkness all round. Strangely, the two women were Rachel and Merius.
Rachel wore her casual normal-day-at-campus look. She was in a black leather jacket and blue jeans trousers and her hair protruded from an opening at the back of the blue cap she wore on her head. Merius, on the other hand, clad in a long black cloak with a hood that covered her hair leaving only her face open.
