I don't know long I was out of it or how long the pain lasted, but when I woke up, Ajak was already pulling up to the packhouse.
He looked extremely furious. I wanted to calm him down before he could do anything stupid, even though I still didn't understand what happened to him.
Ajak? I said softly.
