CHAPTER EIGHTEEN Riley and her colleagues went straight from the CID building to the car that the base had assigned them. As they drove back to the beach cottage, Riley sensed that Bill and Lucy were both discouraged. She didn’t feel discouraged. She felt energized. She felt more determined than ever to solve this case.
