I open the door carefully. I need to escape before things get worse. That man named Zephyr must be crazy. Does he seriously think that he can get a wife like how he can get candy in a*****e? I stare at the ring on my finger and I won't deny it, the ring is beautifully made. But I'm not here for this, I'm here to find my brother. That Zephyr, I don't know him but I know he is dangerous.

I carefully walked downstairs but I cussed when I saw tons of bodyguards.

"Señorita?"

I almost jumped when someone called me.

"A-are you talking to me?" I asked the maid who was holding a dress.

She smiled at me.

"Yes, Señorita. Boss Zephyr is waiting for you in the garden. It's now time for breakfast, I will accompany you but first, wear this dress, please?"

What's with the dress? Am I going to eat with royalty? Tsk, I don't understand but that man is getting on my nerves.

I shook my head.

"I won't wear that, I will eat breakfast in my pajamas. Ahm, can you tell me where the exit is?" I asked. "The door with no guards, I mean."

She frowned but I silently prayed that she would tell me. I need to get out and run. This is a bad idea, I had a feeling that he won't let me leave in peace. I know that Vanilla is now panicking because it's been two days since I'm gone.

I sighed.

"Sorry, Señorita but the Boss said that you can't go anywhere." She answered.

"Where is the garden?" I angrily said.

She bows her head.

"Follow me, Señorita."

And this! These people are acting like I'm some kind of royalty. They treat me like I'm some Queen but I hate it. I just want to go home and sleep because I've been sleepless these past few days.

I can't help but be in awe while roaming my eyes around the Mansion. It's like an old chateau, there's a lot of antics in here. I saw the garden and it's full of beautiful flowers. And then I saw the devil, Zephyr. He's reading some papers while drinking a coffee.

Wow, there's a river!

The view in the garden is aesthetic.

"Boss, Señorita is already here."

I rolled my eyes. Why does he have to say to Zephyr that I'm finally here? Zephyr stared at me and his forehead creased when he saw that I'm wearing pajamas.

"What are you looking at?" I asked and sat in front of him.

I must talk to him if I want to go home but he doesn't answer me, instead, he looks at the maid.

"She didn't wear the dress that I picked?"

The maid looks at me and then bows her head.

"I'm sorry but Señorita insists that she will eat with her pajamas."

Tsk, does she need to tell every detail to this man? This is seriously ruining my mood.

I just glare at him.

"Why do I have to wear a dress just because we will eat breakfast? And can you let me go now? It's been two days, I'm not your prisoner."

The pancakes are mouth-watering but I have to deal with this jerk first.

He gave the newspaper to the maid and the maid left. Now, he's looking at me with cold eyes.

"Did I make it clear to you? The ring on your finger is your destiny. You will get married to me."

What? I still don't understand!

"And why do I have to marry you? I don't even know you, just so you know, you're a stranger."

He smirks.

"Who am I? I own everything here, sweetheart. This place is mine so are you, you can't run nor hide. You will marry me because I want to, I don't need your opinion."

"Don't tell me you're the owner of this El Diablo?"

He pinched my cheeks and laughed.

"Tsk, you're being stupid, do you? I already told you, I'm Zephyr Russo. I'm the boss here and you can't run."

I almost choked.

What? How do I end up with this man? How do I end up with the owner of this place? And now he wants me to marry him?

I shook my head and stood up.

"No, I will go home and I won't marry you!" I hissed and ran.

I smiled when I saw the uniform that I stole from one of his men. If he's thinking that he's the only capable here, then he's wrong.

I know that he checks on me before leaving so I pretend to be asleep.

My hair is now perfectly tied in a bun. I just hope that my plans worked.

I practice breathing exercises to calm myself before going to war.

I urge myself to fight, that's right. I won't marry a dangerous man. My life will be in a mess, I hate injustice, and this place screams injustice for me.

Damn, I looked away and ran fast. I need to get away before it's too late.

They can catch me easily but there are also people shooting Zephyr's guards.

Right now, all I want is to go home.

I will leave this place before he finds me.
