A scream tore through me and sobs wracked my body as I watched Hunter drop to the floor. Jackson stood over him with a smug smile and kicked his motionless body. Pure rage filled me, my breathing became uneven, and my body twitched. Jackson turned his back to me and stood before the window, practically lost in his own world. It happened quickly and quietly, I worried for a second about what would happen to my baby. But I knew deep down that this is a suicide mission.
