Shaline's P.O.V

Seven years down the line , l was here , a mere shell of myself. Everything about Olive Pack reminded of the mystery l suffered in the hands of the people i trusted the most. Not much had changed there after, l came back with a heart filled with vengeance. “If you have iron balls you can come for her though she's not the low lying fruit you thought she was.” Alphard never said a word, he stared at me in disbelief and shock. Moreira blew the smoke into his face and glanced at me. Alphard's face depicted the devastation and frustration much to my satisfaction but i wanted to see him in more pain. The pain of that fateful night l scribbled my signatures was still so raw in my heart. The deceit in his eyes is so evident and vivid. I was not sure if he would stand the test of the vengeance and valor l was preparing for him. There was more to come from my dark basket , he wasn't just ready. The pain of that fateful night lingered back and forth on my soul. Not until I do justice to my innocent and beautiful Flossin , would l rest and smile like a queen herself. “Let's get out of this pigsty. We shall clean it up and transform it to a palace of our own,” Fabian mocked him before he held my hand and seductively walked me out. The sooner he would realize that he shot himself in the foot the better. “Boss, the plan worked marvelously. Prepare to own the whole company,” Cecile whispered as she leaned back in her chair. She was my tech guru behind the whole saga at Alphard's Easterno Hall scandal. We infiltrated their market and company with fake products bearing their business name. What followed was a mass turn out of citizens against their products. With that perfectly planned and executed. I had every reason to smile watching Fabian and Daisy start their journey down the dark trenches. I took advantage of Daisy's flawed leadership to exploit my own agenda. I watched as the standards of the company deteriorated until a month later when it became completely irredeemable. “Easterno Hall Company has been officially declared bankrupt at its time to swing into action under the guise of our business group,” Fabian said as he sipped from a glass of wine. If l had committed suicide I would not have met such a fierce of man and a loving mate he was. “Alphards reaction to the fact that am the true owner of his former company is what I am waiting for. I want to be a pain in his ass. He can't get rid of that easily.” For only five hundred thousand dollars, l had the company under my name in the guise of the same business group. The next thing was to do a complete overhaul of everything. A month later under a new name, the company was back on its original track. “What are you doing here? Job applications or something?” Daisy sneered when l pumped into her in the corridors of the company. Casually dressed, one could have mistaken me for a janitor or an office messenger. “Maybe yes or not? You wanna employ me here. Would be grateful though,” l smiled and as i leaned back on the wall. She hysterically laughed at why schooling me with her eyes from toe to head. “Why did it take you so long to heed my advice after you tried hard to gatecrash and spoil my wedding?” “Mmmh…” “Here's my business card you …” My secretary interrupted her monologue. “Boss, your takeover meant the resurrection of this wonderful company from the grave of shame. Here's your quick report.” Daisy gazed at me and shifted to the secretary. I enjoyed the mental torture she was going through . Crashing her ego was something pleasurable and fun to watch. A dream she wished could not be at any point but in vain. She clicked and walked away as fast as she came. A week later, a furious knock on the door jolted me from my half sleep. The door flung open and Daisy stormed in and shot a fiery glance at me. “What is it? What brings you here this morning?” I inquired as l leaned forward. I was not ready for another episode of drama from her. “I want my company back. You unlawfully acquired this company through pretence,” she yelled. I sighed and folded my hands across my chest and glared at her. All the years l put her first, the adorable love l shared with her went down the gutters. I knew it was just a matter of time before she started paying her dues. “Better than the way you acquired your marriage, right?” I replied with a wry smile on my face. “I know you want him back through whatever means you might lay your filthy hands on. I will do everything to make your efforts fruitless.” “Will you get out of my office? No more drama!” She shot up from her seat as if she was ejecting from a burning jet. With her hands akimbo, she looked daggers at me while fuming. “Learn to start a battle you can win!” she yelled , banged the door behind her and hurried away. I didn't want to get Fabian into the matter, it was not worth his energy at the moment. Daisy was no longer the same childhood friend and stepsister l wholeheartedly loved. I trusted my former marriage little did l know she was a wolf in a sheep's skin. She put the noose around my neck while i thought we were deep in love. She was now away below me, it was not for nothing that i scaled the heights of education and business. That very night, my phone kept buzzing with numerous calls from an unknown caller.
