Once more, we crouched up against the top of the hill and scanned intently across the vast village to spot anything out of place. In the same manner we climbed down to the foot of the hill when we found nothing. We took a path that wound round the hills, in search of the threshold that tunneled right inside the village. Aside from the main entrance, this threshold was the only way in and it was less guarded. The orcs must've have believed that no creature was suicidal enough to try and venture inside their village without fear of being torn in pieces mercilessly by a vexed gaggle of orcs.
