HAYLEY SLID INTO a booth at Chester’s, Kendra taking the seat on the other side of the table and snatched up the stained menu. Not that she needed it. Chester’s had been their hangout since they first arrived on campus, especially once Hayley discovered their jalapeño and pepper jack cheeseburger. Her mouth was already burning thinking about biting into one. And then she sighed, realizing it would be her last one now that she was leaving.
