ERYNDRA Eryndra stared into the empty space ahead as Kayara helped her dress. The morning sun filtered through the window, casting a warm glow across the chamber. "You didn't get enough sleep," Kayara commented. "I'm still getting used to everything," Eryndra exhaled, her mind still in disarray. She hadn't been able to rest after Theron left her chamber the previous night, too many questions swirling through her mind and tightening around her chest all at once. She had sat awake the entire night, staring at the door with a thread of hope that the guards wouldn't come bursting in to arrest her for deceit, while somewhere deep inside, guilt gnawed at her. "Brighten up, princess. The prince won't bite, as long as you do as you've been taught. Surely you know what I mean." Eryndra nodded
