Him... He had lifted her skirts as she stood with her back to the wall and now had his fingers between her legs. 'Come to me,' she whispered, her breath hot in his ear.' Into me now.' He removed her fumbling fingers from his trousers and freed himself. " You want this!" He said, biting her earlobe. He laid his hand on her shoulder, and softly, gently, it began to travel down the curve of her back, blindly, with a blind stroking motion, to the curve of her crouching loins. And there his hand softly, stroked the curve of her flank, in a blind instinctive caress. He touched her neck, the softness of his fingertips raising tingles along her skin and spreading throughout her body, bringing a spike of pleasure to her center. 'What kind of spell have you cast on me?' she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. 'The same kind you've cast on me.' His fingers moved up to her cheek, softly caressing like a hardened scar left by the wolves' vicious bites. I could hear my own heart beating with ominous force, like a kettle drum deep inside a cave. Red-hot threads of panic and dread darted through me. My heart pounded annoyingly in my ears, and it was getting harder to stay still. I looked away for a second to control my heartbeat, but it seemed impossible. When I looked back at them suddenly, he gazed up at me, which felt like he knew I was standing there while he was f*****g her. His blue eyes met my eyes for a split second and his eye's color changed into a dark grim which just scared me. I felt horrified. The man was staring at me. Black eyes burrowed through the fetid air between myself and him. They were without content; hollow pools of meaninglessness. I jerked off and stepped back, trying to calm my nerves. I decided to run before he could come out and catch me. I redirected my feet to the opposite side towards the stairs and made a run for my life. I heard the sound of the door opening, but I didn't stop because I didn't see him doing anything. It's the best option for me to run as far away from him as I can. " STOP RIGHT THERE! " He speaks in a deep, demanding tone. The man had one of those dark, deep voices, the kind that makes men listen and women shed their clothing. I refused to stop and continued picking up the pace and I didn't dare to look back at him. The lights above me began to flicker. A few seconds later, the lights went out, turning the hallway utterly dark, which made me stop running because I couldn't see anything. " No… No… No… Not now, please goddammit!" I thought. Suddenly, a sharp pain cuts through My thoughts, a hand that grips my arm and squeezes too tight. It's Him. He caught me and I felt an immense pressure on my arm and had a vise-like grip on my arm. He could rip my arm out of my torso. My heart was pounding out of my chest. He could hear it. The only thing I could see was his glowing eyes in the dark void. His eyes were devastated. Large, dark, and inviting, they were the sort of open windows that decent people draped. I was so caught up in them that I forgot about my pain for a moment. " You have made a big mistake," he said in his gravelly voice. " Umm, I-I... I didn't do anything…" I said, in aghast. The silence filled between us, and it was the longest moment of my life to pass. And finally, it came to an end when I finally opened my eyes to meet his eyes. He narrowed his blue eyes on me. The lights came back and I finally registered his facial features. Ink-black hair, deep smoldering eyes with eyelashes so enviably long they cast shadows upon his cheekbones, a dimpled smile broad shoulders and a height a little over six feet was all that comprised of Logan Jackson. Basically, he looked like he had just stepped off of the cover of GQ magazine and belonged in Milan and not Haven Falls. He looked the same but completely different all at once. His pretty boyish features had hardened. He was still handsome but in a rougher, more masculine way. He was different...no... He's handsome, but that makes his horribleness worse, somehow. As though he'd taken something nice and made it awful. Being the single focus of his attention made me feel like a bug that a child was going to burn with a magnifying glass. Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps drawing near. Before I could even cry out for help, he hoisted me onto his shoulder and carried me into a room. I was desperately trying to break free. The moment he set me down on the floor, I panicked. "What's going on? Are you high? I've already told you, I'm innocent, and I can't assist you in any way. Please, release me!" I uttered, feigning bravery. He remained silent, motionless, just staring at me. I resolved to dash for the door, fearing he might be a psychopathic killer. I needed to escape before he could harm me. Glancing over his shoulder, I noticed the door was ajar. Summoning every ounce of courage, I lunged towards the door. But, as if possessed by some unseen force, it slammed shut with a deafening thud. My heart pounded in my chest like a wild drum, echoing the dread coursing through my veins. I threw myself against the door, desperation clawing at my senses. My fingers slipped over the cold, unyielding handle as I tried to wrench it open. But it was as immovable as a mountain. The chilling realization hit me - I was trapped. The walls seemed to close in around me, the room growing smaller with each passing second. Fear gripped me, a silent scream trapped in my throat. The taste of despair was bitter on my tongue... I felt his presence behind me and I slowly turned around to face him. " Please, let me go! I begged him. He stopped a few feet away, assessing me with one smooth glance, and his scent enveloped me, musk and leather, and beneath it all the lingering hint of jasmine. At that instant, I could have sworn I saw something flicker in his deep blue eyes. Curiosity? Confusion? Whatever it might have been, in the very next second it was gone. Replaced by a demanding tone of his. " Who sent you to follow me? Did father instruct you?" he snapped at me. " Who is your father? I didn't know them and nobody sent me." I said to him and tried to maintain distance between us. I pushed passed him. He grabbed my hand and swung me back towards him. Then he pushed me against the wall. " DON'T LIE TO ME! ANSWER ME TRUTHFULLY! OR I WON'T GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE TO SPEAK!" He growled at me and, for the first time, the fear of death came over me gradually. It was as if somebody were striking my heart with a powerful blow with a fist from below. Fear coursed through my body, causing it to shake uncontrollably. I was on the verge of collapsing. As I closed my eyes tightly, a single tear managed to slip out...I could feel the pressure of his fingers around my neck. When I dared to open my eyes again, I found myself looking into his. There was a sense of familiarity in them as if I had seen them somewhere before... His grip on my throat intensified, making it increasingly difficult for me to draw breath. As I stared into his eyes, an image flashed before me. It was an image of my younger self, freeing a pup that had been caged in a dark, damp dungeon or basement. The image was so vivid, it was as if I was reliving that moment. My vision started to blur, and my knees buckled beneath me. I tried to fight the darkness that was creeping in at the edges of my vision, but it was a losing battle. The last thing I remember was the warmth of his arms. Then, everything went black, as I slipped into unconsciousness.
