25 Richie woke to find Rebecca standing over him, shaking his shoulder. “Richie, time to go to bed,” she said. “You’re going to be miserable in the morning if you sleep scrunched up in this chair all night.” His neck had a crook in it, and he blinked a few times before he sat up. Then, with a groan, he bent forward at the waist, his head hanging forward sleepily. “I’m supposed to be keeping you awake,” he mumbled. “Like you’ll be a big help.
