I come back from my thoughts when I hear my phone ringing. I check the caller ID. It's Amber calling. I quickly answer so I can give her the good news.
“Hi, Eleanor, how are you doing today? Have you eaten? Did you sleep well last night?” Amber asks once I answer. This is what Amber has been doing for the past two weeks. She calls me every morning even though she’s supposed to be sleeping. I’m so grateful to have her in my life. She cares about me greatly.
