An hour later, Amber and I are done getting ready. We walk out of the house to meet Jason and Evan. We’re not going together since we won’t be coming back together. I say hi to Evan before he and Amber get in his car. As Jason and I walk to his car, he compliments me on how beautiful I look, as always.
We arrive at Carson’s place before Amber and Evan. We ring the bell and wait. After a few seconds, Kassie comes and opens the door for us. She tells us Carson is waiting for us in the living room. We thank her and walk to the living room to join him.
“Hello, grandfather,” Jason says, walking into the living room.
“Hi, Carson,” I say,
“How’re you both doing today?” he asks.
“We’re doing great,” Jason says.
