People watch and judge while waiting for their moment of truth. Sooner or later, they will find themselves on the same stage, and someone will watch and judge them. They will remember when they used to look at others with superiority, indifference, or disgust, as those people stood in their vulnerability. They will feel that same discomfort once seen in the eyes of their victims—who were invaded and exposed while trying to hold on to a shred of dignity.
They will then know both sides of the mirror: the winner, proud of their success, crushing others without remorse; and the loser, broken, crushed in return, without mercy.
They will realize that we all have hearts and emotions, often humiliated by gazes and judgments driven by a desire to feel superior or by cruelty. They will learn that we all need one another. We are beings meant to listen, share, exchange. Cruelty is born from the inability to truly connect with others.
There is a current between us, often interrupted by disconnections that haven’t yet reached the awareness needed to understand our unity. A flow of energy difficult to fully manifest, often trapped in a small body and limited mind, which replaces that flow with a desire to dominate others.
