The night sky was slowly wearing the color of dawn. The lord of the night had given the invitation for the war. The dragon hovered over the ship of Hadrites to drop off the sea lord.
Hadrites stared from the front deck of the ship at the big hovering dragon. His face didn't show any signs of surprise. His face always stayed the same, hostile and proud. But there was a huge respect for Rhineas he had sort of gotten the idea when he first saw him.
Jiua landed down slightly on the railing of the ship. The impact of landing shook the ship and the sea lord jumped down.
'Lord Hadrites, I am forever in debt to your generous help.' Rhineas said
Hadrites nodded in response.
'I am sorry for the loss of few men.' Rhineas said.
'What do you mean, boy?' Hadrites roared.
'I couldn't bring everyone out.' Rhineas expressed his sympathy.
'How did the heist go?' Hadrites asked.
'I am afraid your men didn't follow the plan, it was not as it should've been, my lord.' Rhineas said.
Hadrites swallowed his raging wrath. He don't wanted to argue any further but he would definitely hold a grudge. He is a sea lord and he won't let his men's death go unnoticed.
